Readiness Assessment
Through RSI Church Stewardship, Ignite is a Pastor/Staff-led process that presents the vision of the church to your lay leadership in advance of the stewardship journey launch for prayer, comments, and feedback. The result of this process is broader buy-in among the lay leadership and a critical mass of engaged spokespeople and event leaders before the all church launch.
IGNITE
The goals and results for Ignite at your church include:
  • Ignite builds lay leadership's understanding of the vision. It prepares the lay leadership to hold and cast the vision vs. just tactically play out the vision during the campaign.
  • Ignite passes the torch from pastor/staff ownership of the vision to lay leadership ownership through feedback and dialog. Lay leadership gets engaged and begins to own the vision because they helped to "shape" communicating it in the Ignite process.
  • Ignite gives Pastors/Staff a major opportunity to refine the stewardship journey vision, strategies, and messages based on lay leadership feedback. This builds confidence that the stewardship journey vision and launch will communicate well to the whole church.
  • Provides early feedback on the stewardship journey vision.
  • Creates a safe environment for dialog and questions and answers.
  • Uncovers known/unknown resistance publicly to be addressed constructively. Helps to shape a relevant question and answer format for the stewardship journey materials.
  • Provides the vehicle to discover life change stories for the campaign.
  • Initiates a response to the vision with prayer early in the process.
  • Leaders have the opportunity to engage spiritually first, then in service and leadership to others.
  • Ignite gives Pastors an opportunity to personally engage with your most valuable lay leadership volunteers, and for your lay leadership to build a community themselves.
  • Ignite will provide a solid core of committed stewardship journey spokespeople and event leaders, ready to serve.
Ignite will "jumpstart" the commitment to the vision of the capital stewardship journey at your church. By connecting your leadership to the vision before the launch, you will create a greater sense of ownership and energize the leadership to set the pace for the process.
