Terry Goolsby joined RSI with more than 20 years' experience in Christian ministry. An accomplished team-builder and motivator, helping communities of faith turn a vision for ministry into reality inspires Terry. While in local ministry, Terry participated in three capital campaigns led by RSI, gaining knowledge of the necessary components for success from the church's perspective.

In his tenure with RSI, Terry has assisted churches in raising over $300 million. He has demonstrated expertise working with independent churches as well as churches in each of the mainline denominations. He has worked extensively with congregations on projects including construction, renovation, relocation, debt-retirement, mission and budget enhancement efforts. Terry recently partnered with the University United Methodist Church of San Antonio, Texas, to add additional worship and student ministry space in a campaign raising almost $10 million.

His skills and experience make Terry a talented consultant who is able to work with church leadership to discern their vision and implement a strategy to achieve their goals. RSI welcomes his excellence and expertise as a member of the team that develops client resource materials.

Education

Terry is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Southern Illinois University and Southwestern Theological Seminary, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Masters of Church Music and Religious Education degrees, respectively. As a professional, Terry is a member of the board for Chorister's Guild. He donates his free time to the Youth World Alliance preparing leadership conferences in Hong Kong, China and Leipzig, Germany. Terry also conducts a Dallas community chorus which has toured Italy, the British Isles, and sung at the White House.
