Professional Experience
Prior to joining RSI, Teri served as an administrator, instructor, and leader at several Christian schools and colleges including Lighthouse Christian Academy of Dallas, Texas and Vennard College of University Park, Iowa. Her achievements include successful major event planning, development strategy, admissions and student recruitment, along with curriculum development.
Teri has successfully coordinated events for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), and earned teaching credentials through ACSI. She is also a strong advocate for educational therapy and has worked with the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) to develop programs in local schools. Her superb communication and instruction skills earned her the distinction of "Who's Who Among American High School Teachers" for four consecutive years.
As the Director of Business Development for RSI, Teri works with potential clients and partner firms to build strategic relationships. With more than 18 years of experience working with faith-based and not-for-profit organizations, Teri delivers innovative ideas, effective solutions, and energizing motivation to each client. Teri specializes in working in the educational arena; however, her breadth of experience includes assisting clients who are engaged in multi-church campaigns (such as the United Methodist Conference of West Ohio), camp initiatives, and other Christian not-for-profits. Service oversight for Christian organizations includes annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, organizational development, strategic planning, and capital campaigns. In addition, Teri has extensive volunteer leadership training and management experience in the nonprofit community. Education Teri earned her BA degree from Vennard College and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She has served as a member of the Texas Private School Music Educator's Association and the Texas Music Educator's Association Personal
Teri resides in Dallas with her husband, Sean, and three daughters. An accomplished musician and vocalist, Teri enjoys composing and performing.
