Professional Experience
 
Robert Steinhagen leads Christian non-profit ministries through successful major gift and capital campaigns as well as organizational and strategic training. Robert is a high energy leader who continually encourages clients to break through barriers and realize potential growth through practical Biblical strategies. Robert's motivation is stems from Christ-centered organizations spreading the kingdom of Christ as they reach their full potential.

At RSI, Robert helps train consultants and serves on the Institutional Design Team where every facet of the consulting process is continually challenged and improved.

Robert has assisted Christ-centered organizations and individuals with successful fundraising-development strategies for more than fourteen years. He began his career in campaign politics by developing skills in major gift fundraising areas. He then moved on to consult many faith-based non-profit public policy groups and organizations including Christian Coalition, Texas Public Policy Foundation, and Wall Builders.

Robert served as Director of Communications and Development for Champions for Life International (formerly Bill Glass Ministries) a prison and crusade ministry, and World Serve Ministries, an international ministry serving the suffering Church in closed and restricted access countries.

Robert is a frequent lecturer at national conferences for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Christian Management Association, and several other well known organizations, on subjects relating to fundraising development, policy board governance, strategic development and "earned media" strategies.

Robert currently leads research which studies the habits, attitudes, and giving trends of Christian Philanthropists based on geography and generation. Robert also serves on the Standards Committee for the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Education

A resident of Dallas, Robert is a graduate of Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas.

Personal
 
He and his wife of twelve years, Dr. Michelle Steinhagen, are expecting their first baby girl in February. They attend Watermark Community Church in Dallas. When not serving the needs of clients, Robert enjoys playing tennis and performs often as a member of the church drama team.
