Mark Blackmore
Professional Experience
Mark Blackmore is motivated by a commitment to serve and assist churches in the area of stewardship education. Before joining RSI, Mark served for 20 years as a Senior Pastor for churches in Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma. As a Pastor he led multiple capital campaigns for building and relocation projects. His ability to grow congregations in both breadth and depth makes Mark an asset to the RSI consulting team. Sharing his expertise, Mark serves as a supervisor and mentors 6 RSI consultants in their work.

As recognition for his personal integrity and exceptional service to clients, Mark is the recipient of the Jon Pirtle Award granted by Viscern. The esteemed Jon Pirtle Award is granted annually to the person who best helps clients realize their mission by providing innovative solutions, developing deep relationships, and connecting communities.

A published writer and sought-after conference speaker, Mark uses his communication and leadership skills to help congregations reach their greatest potential. His personable style and passion for the local church are some of Mark's consulting hallmarks. Working as a Senior Executive Consultant, Mark has led over 130 capital campaigns and helped raise over $300 million for churches of diverse sizes and traditions. Mark recently led a Capital Stewardship Campaign in 2006 at Central Christian Church of the East Valley in Mesa, Arizona that raised $25.6 million in commitments.

Education
Mark is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Personal
He currently lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, with his wife Annie. The Blackmores have four grown children: Matthew, Rhett, Carissa, and Cammeron. Mark enjoys golf, basketball, and scuba diving.
