Joel Mikell
Professional Experience Joel Mikell joined RSI as a stewardship consultant after more than 25 years of ministry experience as a Pastor of Worship and Music. Joel serves on the RSI Leadership Team and is the Sr. Vice President for Client Service, responsible for building long-lasting and attentive relationships with each client .He oversees the training and education of all RSI consultants and manages the development of all client resource materials. His organizational skills, ability to effectively manage a project from beginning to end, and passion for creating efficient communication mediums make Joel a valued leader and consultant. As an RSI consultant, Joel uses his gift for communication to provide exceptional stewardship counsel to local churches. Joel has assisted churches in raising over $400 million. Joel served on the consulting teams for Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. Calvary Chapel raised $105 million, the largest-known church campaign in America. Redeemer Presbyterian Church raised $19 million to meet the needs of their growth and expanding ministries. Education Joel received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Troy University and a Master's degree from Southwestern Seminary. He completed the residency requirements toward a Doctoral Degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Georgia.Personal A resident of Brevard, North Carolina, Joel is the husband of Donna, father of Cindi, Jeremy, and Jenni, and grandfather of Alexis and Addison. In his spare time he enjoys hiking in the mountains, fly fishing and spending time with Alexis and Addison. He nurtures his passion for music by serving on the worship team at his church.
