Jim Keith
Professional Experience
Jim Keith joined RSI in 1989 with extensive pastoral experience and academic influence. He served as a pastor for more than 20 years, including his position as senior minister for several notable mega-churches. During his most recent pastorate, in a congregation of 6,000 members, Jim experienced an RSI capital stewardship program from the church's perspective. He guided the church through a $27 million relocation project, learning first hand the necessary components of successful capital growth. 
Jim's consulting expertise is motivating and inspiring people to reach their maximum potential. Jim has led more than 130 stewardship programs, generating more than $520 million for local ministry. Congregations benefiting from Jim's counsel include Southland Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky, the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, and Grace Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Education
In addition to being RSI's principal programming specialist, Jim is an accomplished scholar. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi College, and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Theology degrees from Southwestern Theological Seminary (where he received the Outstanding Preaching Award). He has taught preaching, theology of communication, Old Testament, and Biblical interpretation for William Carey College, New Orleans Theological Seminary and Southwestern Theological Seminary.
Personal
Jim and his wife Saundra currently reside in Dallas, Texas. Jim enjoys reading and woodworking. In addition to being the former Yo-Yo champion of Mississippi, Jim served for more than ten years on the national board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the invitation of coach Tom Landry. Jim also served for one summer as the Chaplain to the House of Representatives in Washington, DC.
