Professional Experience Jerry Cleveland joined RSI after 22 years experience in Christian ministry. As a Business Administrator Jerry honed analytic and strategic planning skills as he effectively managed the church's human and financial resources. Serving as Minister of Education for five congregations in Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Texas, Jerry knows first-hand the necessary elements for healthy and successful expansion. Jerry guided capital stewardship campaigns in four of the churches he served, giving him an "insider's perspective" to the consultation he now provides to other congregations. As an RSI stewardship consultant Jerry is known for his exceptional motivational abilities and organizational skills. He has led communities of faith in various denominations to complete successful campaigns for new construction, space transformation, relocation, and debt retirement. He recently helped the Centerville Mennonite Church in Congerville, Illinois, to commit over four times their annual income. Jerry is consistently cited in evaluations for bringing great passion, strong work ethic, and helpful creativity to his clients. Education Jerry earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and a Master of Religious Education from Southwestern Theological Seminary. Personal A resident of DeSoto, Texas, Jerry enjoys spending time with his wife, Belva, their children, Janet and Sandi, and their three grandchildren. Jerry is also an avid reader and has a passion for lighthouses. As a hobby, he collects replicas of historic and famous lighthouses and enjoys visiting and touring standing structures in his free time. |
