Professional Experience
Gil Jones joined RSI "because it brings me close to individuals and communities who face challenges and reach new summits.". Gil's expertise derives from nine years of service in Christian ministry. A gifted administrator and leader, Gil served as senior pastor for the Flatirons Community Church in Boulder, Colorado. There he provided spiritual leadership while also managing a staff team of 40 and a budget of $3 million. As a stewardship and church development expert, Gil helps churches and other faith-based organizations realize their vision and expand their service to the church and to the community. Gil is an excellent communicator successful in group training, motivational speaking, negotiations, board-level presentations and sales. In addition to guiding congregations and faith-based organizations as they plan strategically for the future, he meets current development needs by leading stewardship enhancement and capital campaigns. Confident in the products and services RSI offers to its clients, Gil assists leadership to discern the suitable strategy for vital growth. Recently, Gil partnered with the Vineyard Community Church in Cincinnati, Ohio to raise more than $12 million. The unique campaign included a healing center, a student ministry facility, and new wells for a village in Nigeria. He also worked with Journey Church in Bozeman, Montana. Only one-year-old, the church already has more than 700 persons in weekly attendance. With a budget of only $300,000, the church raised $2.5 million. Gil is a resident of Louisville, Colorado and the proud parent of Brody, Brooke, Makayla and Kade. He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his children. Gil is an accomplished saxophone player, having played in rock and jazz bands. |
