A seasoned ministry professional, Dustin joins RSI as a consultant after more than 25 years as a pastor. Motivated by the uniting of people, Dustin is committed to the well-being of the church. As a pastor who led six capital campaigns for growth, Dustin knows first hand the opportunities and challenges of a capital stewardship program from the pastor's perspective. He has experience leading congregations through strategic planning, purchasing property, designing buildings that are both functional and aesthetic, and raising the funds necessary for growth.

For the past ten years, Dustin has served as the senior pastor of a large congregation in Kansas City, Missouri. Under his leadership the congregation doubled in size, enlarged its ministry programs, expanded its annual budget by more than 60%, added worship opportunities to the morning schedule, constructed the final phase of a Master Building Plan, conducted two successful capital stewardship campaigns, and adopted a vision statement for the next decade.

Education

Dustin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Missouri University and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Candler School of Theology.

Personal

Dustin and his wife, Ruth, are the proud parents of college students Corrine and Greg. A resident of Overland Park, Kansas, Dustin is a certified scuba diver and organizer of his racquetball league. When relaxing, he cheers for the Kansas City Chiefs and participates in a movie club with his wife, Ruth.
