Professional Experience

Doug Turner is one of America's most sought after stewardship and church leadership experts. Doug is the President of RSI, the most experienced and successful stewardship consultant organization in America. Churches across America invite Doug to speak to their leaders and members. Doug speaks to the dramatic spiritual impact a community of faith experiences when its vision is fully resourced.

Motivated by growing healthy churches, Doug spent 14 years as a Senior Pastor. Doug led his congregation through transformation and expansion, including two successful capital stewardship programs. Doug experienced firsthand the positive impact an RSI program makes far beyond the dollars raised. In his own words, "God used the RSI program to bring focus and vision to my ministry. The ultimate result of the campaign was spiritual renewal."

Committed to sharing his positive experience with others, Doug joined RSI in 1991. As a consultant Doug led more than 120 successful programs, generating in excess of $430 million. Through Doug's strong leadership and sound counsel more than 85 of the programs he led raised in excess of $1 million each. Doug's personable style and unlimited energy are the trademarks of his leadership.

Doug served as the senior consultant for the Willow Creek Community Church's successful 2000 capital stewardship campaign. Since then he has been invited to provide counsel to several of the Willow Creek Association's rapidly growing fellowships nationwide. One example is the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. Doug recently guided the church through a successful $29 million dollar capital stewardship campaign.

In 2002 the leadership of RSI asked Doug to serve as its President. Doug's vast experience, exceptional communication skills, and commitment to excellence are an asset to both RSI and the communities of faith RSI serves.
