Distinguished by his gift for team building and motivation, Charles Blackmon serves as a consultant for RSI. He joined RSI following 21 years of ministerial experience, including 19 years as a senior minister. A recognized leader, Charles served on denominational boards and chaired local community fund-raising campaigns for the cancer fund in Greenville, Alabama.

During his tenure with RSI, Charles has led over 150 churches from numerous denominations through stewardship programs, generating more than $200 million for local ministry. He recently led the First Methodist Church of Opelika, Alabama, to raise more than seven times their annual pledged income for the purpose of building a new education building. Motivated by a genuine love and concern for the people he serves, Charles helps communities reach not only their capability for growth but also their promise for vitality.

Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi College and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Theological Seminary. He currently resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Paula, and their children, Laura, Cara, and Susanna.

Charles enjoys teaching Vacation Bible School and Sunday school at his local church, as well as reading and spending time with his family. When on vacation, he savors playing golf and tennis on the beaches of Maui, Hawaii.
